Time to Pee Review

We're using this book during a potty training marathon with our rather willful 2-year old. It has helped him put words to the positive feeling he gets when he succeeds ("I feel proud", he says, beaming.) The text is presented in a fun way, in the form of celebratory signs and banners paraded by supportive mice. His older brother enjoys sounding out the words, so it's nice to have a book they both can enjoy. I haven't used the stickers and chart yet (he's not to that stage yet) but I remember hand-making something similar for his older brother when we were working on consistency -- it worked like a champ!

Mama Cat's Adventures in Child Training Presents: No Whining Review

I have twin 4 year olds who are constantly whining. This is a beautifully-written and illustrated book that teaches you get NOTHING when you whine, and you are rewarded for good behavior. I read it to my boys last night and they loved it. This morning, when one of my boys started whining, I said, "What do you get when you whine?" He replied, "Nothing... I'm sorry." A lesson also for parents to be consistent and to remain calm instead of yelling at your kids to stop (which never works). I'm already convinced that with repeated reading and consistent parenting (you can never give in) the whining will stop! Thanks for this book, and PLEASE write more!!!!

No Whining! is the first in a series of fully illustrated juvenile books which provide child training techniques for common child rearing dilemmas. Children enjoy the pictures and story while learning colors, numbers, and word association. Parents pick up ideas to apply with their own children in order to stop a child from whining. The story and illustrations present a strong sense of family values.
