(More customer reviews)What a fun book! Although I am a very casual football fan, I was caught up in the spirit of the author's enthusiasm for his subject matter, attending college football games.
You really feel as if you are there at the games with him and his friends.
I don't see how there could be a truer college football fan than Steve!
He also discusses people he met, and experiences he had during his quest to attend the college games over the years. He took careful notes about each experience, and using those, along with his memories, he put together this book. The writing flows, and it's a truly enjoyable read. Among other interesting experiences, he captures the essence of that trepidation so many of us had on our first flight post-9/11, yet he was determined to get to that next game across the country! After all, he had a goal to achieve.....and achieve it he did!
If you are seeking a great gift for the football fan in your life, look no further than this book! If you can't be at a game, reading this book is the next best thing to being there.
