Put this first on your priority list.
This has to be the best book I have read to date on Classical Riding. The whole book can be read through in a matter of hours. Do you know exactly what "Classical Riding" is, or what it means. This book tells you in just a few clear chosen words.
I especially love the training section which not only illustrates the movements, but carefully explains the aids, including rider's weight position, etc in such a succinct way without you becoming confused or bored.
There is just about everything you need to know in this book and it is such a pleasure to read. You do not have to read pages and pages of details when you can get it from here in a few words. Everything is absolutely simplified as the title suggests. A TRUELY SIMPLIFIED AND CONCISE TEXT. A really worth-while and informative read.
If I could take only one book with me anywhere I am with my horse for training - even my own backyard - this would have to be the book. It can be read between training sessions if you are on a camp, ranch or anywhere.
