(More customer reviews)As an instructor for a course that utilizes this book in its curriculum, I have to say this book falls a little short in giving you all that you need to prepare for the ACSM certification. There are many questions related to strength and conditioning on the test that this book does not cover, yet is required reading for preparation for the exam. Though it gives you good info on all that you should expect going into personal training, you will need to supplement your studies with the ACSM's Guidelines for Exercise Testing. It is a simplier read than the ACE text and a little more extensive on the "whats" of a personal trainer.
