(More customer reviews)I've gotten to checking out the books in this series from the local library first and seeing if they stick before buying them. This one's fairly new, however, and they don't have it yet, but timing was an issue. We're in the midst of potty-training and I got it so we would have some entertainment while waiting for *something* to happen (if you know what I mean, and if you're a parent in a similar situation, I think you do).
Didn't take long before the songs became part of our regular repertoire. My poor wife now has to sit through two males belting out songs about pooping on the neighbor's stoop, etc. Good thing she has a sense of humor.
One thing the songs do is turn light-hearted something that is stressful for children of that age, but I imagine it depends much on their sense of humor. If your child likes the other Katz/Catrow books, odds are they'll like this one too.
