(More customer reviews)George McCloskey's text presents the most clearly written and expertly integrated view of executive functions and how they impact student performance. His explanation of the arenas and domains for executive function involvement, as well as the varied nature of the numerous functions (such as modulate, initiate, etc.), allows the reader to fully comprehend this view of neuropsychological functioning. In addition, he presents case studies which are extremely helpful for envisioning the variety of ways that executive functions can impact student behavior and performance. This is a must-have for school psychologists who want to be up to date on EF assessment and intervention!
